PLANT & PREVENT
Keeping trees alive is as important as planting new ones. This is why we finance awareness videos on social media, to show people what we can do to minimise the impact of deforestation in our everyday lives. Along with financing tree planting projects, we also finance the protection of our newly planted trees.
FOREST FACT
27 per cent – more than a quarter – of the Amazon biome will be without trees by 2030 if the current rate of deforestation continues.
EARTH’S LUNGS ARE ON FIRE

Only 2% of all soybeans grown are destined for human consumption.
The biggest culprit for deforestation in the Amazon rainforest is the increased worldwide demand for beef. There are two main causes for this demand, both connected to meat industry.
Cattle ranching is the largest driver of deforestation in every Amazon country, accounting for 80% of current deforestation rates.
The second cause is the clearing of the rainforest to create space to grow soybeans. Although soybeans could easily be distributed to feed starving people, it is a sad fact that 98% of soybeans is used to feed the livestock that produce meat.
Cattle ranching and soy cultivation are often linked, as soy production replaces cattle pasture, pushing farmers deeper and deeper into the Amazon rainforest. By purchasing the Amazon rainforest bracelet, you plant trees and raise awareness about deforestation in the most precious forest on our planet.
HAND-ASSEMBLED IN SLOVENIA, CREATING JOBS FOR THE LOCALS ALL OVER THE WORLD
Purchasing a Treecelet bracelet does more than just plant trees. Our bracelets are hand-made in Slovenia by mothers that take care of their children at home. This way, they can work from home and raise our most precious gold – children. Are children not one of the main reasons to preserve nature?
The bracelets also provide sustainable and living-wage jobs to local people where the trees are planted. By financing tree planting projects, nature preservation becomes their mission.
